Castleford Tigers partner with Mental Health Awareness App TriggerHub

TriggerHub have joined forces with the Castleford Tigers Foundation to shine a light on mental health wellbeing, coincides with Rugby League Cares' and Super League's #TackleTheToughStuff round.

Their branding will be present on the front of Castleford Tigers' Schlorship shirts, and TriggerHub was the headline sponsor for the club's recent Foundation event.

TriggerHub is an app providing unrivaled mental health solutions for both organisations and individuals globally. Everything from resources, data insights and employee support, to training, speakers and workshops. TriggerHub uses Lived Experience at its core by utilising the extraordinary stories of ordinary people to help others.

The app already works with the likes of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Sheffield Stealers and Sheffield Sharks but Castleford Tigers will be their first chosen rugby league club to highlight their powerful message.

Founder of TriggerHub, Adam Shaw commented on the new partnership: “Sport has the power and the influence on so many levels. It can change the trajectory of Mental Health, wellbeing and prosperity. It brings communities together, encourages engagement, hope, aspiration, resilience and dreams. The power of Lived Experience has the capability to address and support Mental Health Welbeing so our next generation can prosper and never have to suffer in silence again.

"Sport is a great leveller and transcends age, gender, class and location to bring people together. We are proud as an organisation to support Castleford Tigers along with our other clubs Sheffield Steelers, Sheffield Sharks and Sheffield Wednesday in a bid to get our important mental wellbeing message and platform out to EVERYONE.”

Castleford Tigers' Commercial Director, Laura Kirk, commented: “We’re delighted to have TriggerHub as a new partner supporting the Castleford Tigers Foundation. Raising awareness of mental health issues is really important to us as a club and we look forward to working with TriggerHub and other key partners on this subject to better the lives of our fans and local community."
